Free migration
Switch hosts, lose nothing.
Give us access to your old host from your client area: we copy everything to your new Artaun service, automatically. Game servers, Discord bots, websites and VPS.
How it works
- Order your new service
Game server, bot, web hosting or VPS: it is ready in minutes.
- Enter your old host's access
In your client area, Migration page: SFTP or FTP for a website, game server or bot, SSH for a VPS. The connection is tested right away.
- We copy everything
Files, worlds, plugins, configs and databases land on your Artaun service. You follow progress live.
What we migrate
Websites
Your site files over SFTP or FTP, sent into your Plesk hosting. For the database, an export is all you need: import it in one click in Plesk.
VPS
Your new VPS pulls the chosen folders (sites, users, applications) from the old one over SSH, and exports your MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL databases.
Your credentials stay protected
- Credentials encrypted, used only for the copy, deleted as soon as it ends.
- Read-only: nothing is changed or deleted at your old host.
- Keep your old service running until you have checked everything.
Frequently asked questions
Everything to know before moving to Artaun.
Contact supportDoes the migration cost anything?
No, it is included with your Artaun service. You only pay for the plan you choose.
How long does a migration take?
From a few minutes to a few hours depending on the data size and your old host's bandwidth. Progress is shown live in your client area.
Will my site or server go down?
No: your old service keeps running during the copy. You switch your players or domain to Artaun when you are ready.
What is the maximum size?
Up to 25 GB per automatic migration. Beyond that, open a ticket: we will do it with you.
My old host gives no SFTP access, what then?
FTP works too. Otherwise, download a backup from your old host and upload it in your Artaun service's file manager, or ask us for help on Discord.
