01Preamble and acceptance

These terms of use govern access to and use of all services provided by Artaun Hosting (hereafter “We”).

By accessing our infrastructure or creating an account, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these terms in full.

02Status and liability

Technical neutrality. We act solely as a technical host. As such we exercise no control, moderation or validation over the data and code you store.

Content liability. You bear full civil and criminal liability for activity linked to your account. We cannot be held liable for damage resulting from the use of our resources.

Indemnity. You undertake to indemnify us against any third-party action or claim linked to a breach of your legal obligations.

03Use of the infrastructure

To keep our network stable, the following activities are prohibited:

• hosting unlawful or counterfeit content;
• intrusion attempts, port scanning or denial-of-service attacks;
• unauthorised cryptocurrency mining;
• bulk sending of unsolicited mail;
• use that abnormally saturates shared resources (processor, memory, bandwidth).

04Continuity and backups

Availability. We apply our best technical efforts to maintain service continuity, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability during maintenance or external network failure.

Backups. Backing up your data is your responsibility. Unless a specific option is taken, we guarantee neither the integrity nor the recovery of your data in the event of loss of access.

05Precautionary measures

We may suspend, restrict or remove your access without notice or compensation in the event of:

• a clear breach of these terms;
• a critical risk to the security of our infrastructure;
• an administrative or judicial order.

06Changes and governing law

Changes. We may change technical characteristics and these terms. Any substantial change is notified through your usual contact channels.

Jurisdiction. These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
