Creating a manual backup
From the server's Backups tab, a button starts an immediate backup of all the server's files. Depending on the server's size, it can take from a few seconds to several minutes.
Scheduled backups
Some plans let you schedule recurring automatic backups (daily, weekly) straight from the panel. It's the most reliable protection against data loss from a mistake, independently of how diligent you are about manual backups.
Backup storage limit
Each plan has a storage quota dedicated to backups, separate from the server's own disk space. Once the quota is reached, the oldest backups must be deleted manually (or automatically depending on the rotation policy) before new ones can be created.
Restoring a backup
From the Backups tab, select the backup you want and start the restore.
Downloading a backup
A backup can also be downloaded locally, which lets you keep a copy outside the panel — useful before cancelling a service or making a major plan change.
