Immediate cancellation or at term
From a service's detail page, in My services, the cancellation option usually offers two choices:
- immediate cancellation: the service stops at once, without waiting for the end of the period already paid;
- cancellation at term: the service stays active until the end of the current period, then isn't renewed.
What happens to your data
Depending on the service type:
- VPS and Pterodactyl: data is permanently deleted after the cancellation takes effect, usually after a short grace period. Make a local backup first.
- Plesk hosting: same logic — export your databases and files before the end date.
