From the login page
On the Artaun Hosting login page, click "Forgot password". Enter the email address linked to your account: an email containing a secure single-use link is sent to you.
From the Discord bot
If you've linked your account to the Artaun Discord bot, the following command triggers the same link:
/forgot-passwordIt's equivalent to the request from the website — handy if you're already on Discord and don't want to open a browser.
What happens after the change
Once the new password is set:
- all your active sessions are invalidated, including the Discord link, which will need to be re-authorised;
- you'll have to sign in again everywhere you were signed in before;
- if 2FA was enabled it stays enabled: you'll need to supply the code from your authenticator app at the next sign-in.
You no longer have access to your email address
If the email address linked to the account is no longer reachable (mailbox deleted, email password lost), automatic reset won't work. In that specific case, contact support with proof of identity linked to the account (name, order history, last invoice): it's the only situation where manual verification is required.
